Racer Productions is saddened to hear about the passing of former GNCC racer, Matthew “Loupie” Lambruno. Loupie, age 26, passed away on Sunday, June 18. Loupie’s last GNCC race was in 2012 where he placed second in the Sportsman A division at Loretta Lynn’s. Since then, Loupie focused on his career as a crane operator.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Hayden Cole Lambruno Fund, in care of Bank of Cadiz, P.O. Box 2020, Cadiz, KY 42211.

Funeral services were held earlier this week. Loupie will be remembered on the start line at the 10 a.m. race this weekend at Snowshoe.

Godspeed, Loupie.
