The second round of UTV action took place this past weekend at Round 4 of the Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) series in Union, South Carolina. GNCC introduced a brand new race to the series this year for the single seat UTV.

Team UXC backed Polaris Sportsman Ace 570s driven by Marc Spataro #87 and Josh Copeland #451 took to the starting line at the Big Buck family farm. The #87 machine rocketed off the starting line taking an early lead with #451 holding a 5th place position on the first lap.

It was an epic battle the entire race, but Spataro was able to hold his lead until the checkered taking the 1st place position on the podium. “Thanks to Team UXC/Factory Polaris Racing and ROX Speed FX, I was able to experience my first ever GNCC career podium. My Polaris Ace took me to the checkered. It was not only fun and exciting but one of the most memorable races for me,” stated Spataro.

Copeland worked his way around the completion finishing an impressive 2nd place. “I am pleased with how the day went. None of this would be possible without all the support of our sponsors,” said Copeland.

“I am very happy to see our two ROX Speed FX backed Polaris Sportsman Ace 570s on the podium. Everyone should check out ROX Speed FX for all their new products for the Ace,” claimed Michael Swift, Team UXC race manager.

Look for Team UXC at Round 5 in Springville, Indiana on Saturday, April 25th. The single seat UTV’s will be back in action at Round 7 in Masontown, West Virginia May 23rd. Find more information about Team UXC at www.teamuxcracing.com.
