This past weekend Team UXC was in Morganton, NC for Round 3 of the Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) racing series. With cool temperatures and tacky soil, it was set to be a great weekend of racing.

UXC teammates #202 Kevin Trantham and #208 Michael Swift left the starting line toward the rear of the pack. They both slowly worked their Polaris Scrambler 850 EPS’s to the front with little passing in the single line race course.

Trantham made a pass for the lead and was able to hold the position despite the lap traffic coming into the finish line. Number 202 put the UXC/Polaris Scrambler 850 EPS in the center of the podium in the Pro 4x4 class and took the overall win.

“I had an awesome day on the Team UXC Racing Polaris Scrambler. The bike worked amazing, taking everything that the brutal Steele Creek GNCC course had to offer. Thanks again to Team UXC Racing/Factory Polaris for giving me the opportunity to race some of the best equipment available,” commented Trantham.

Swift encountered a belt issue just before the finish line and finished 6th in the Pro 4x4 class and 11th overall.
