Team VVR Expands into UTV Racing

Vigilant Vet Racing (VVR) is officially expanding into the UTV side of GNCC Racing. Rich Curley and Doug Fortner, both Veterans, will be the first ever Team VVR UTV drivers and will be officially kicking their season off at this weekend’s Maxxis General in Washington, GA.
A large part of VVR’s mission is to promote awareness of PTSD and Veteran Suicide. “Basically, the more eyes we can get on the issues we feel are important, the better we can do our part to spread knowledge and improve Veterans’ lives, post-military,” said Rick Proctor, Founder/Executive Director, Vigilant Vet Racing. “Keeping this in mind, it’s only natural that we begin to expand our presence into the other types of competitions held within America’s premier off-road racing series, GNCC.”
Stop by VVR’s location on Vendor’s Row at any GNCC event to learn more about VVR’s expansion plans and mission, as well as PTSD, Veteran Suicide and why we feel off-road riding and/or racing can help address these issues.
