Red Bull KTM Factory rider Taddy Blazusiak was placed in the first heat where he had a bad gate pick. He still managed to pull a 2^nd place start and finished the race in that spot to qualify to the main event. 

When the gate dropped for the main event, Blazusiak had a great jump but went down in the first corner. Robert was up front as well and pulled a 2^nd place start behind Cody Webb. 

Blazusiak quickly recovered from his last place position to move into 4^th by the end of the first lap. He soon found himself challenging Robert for a 2^nd place result before he suffered another crash that dropped him back to 5^th. At that point, Webb and Robert began to pull away from the rest of the field. When Webb crashed in the rocks with a few laps to go, Robert was able to capitalize on the mistake and move into the lead. He maintained that position through the finish and took home a hard earned victory. Blazusiak moved up one more position to finish 4^th for the night.   

“It feels great to get a win tonight,” stated Robert. “I have been working really hard and seeing a lot of progress and it has finally paid off.”
