The GNCC series resumed its 2014 championship schedule this past weekend in New Berlin, New York. After a short summer break and a bit of time to get things dialed in for the second half of the season the boys spent 14 hours in the truck to get to New York.

Jake was able to get a good start and spend most of his day focusing on staying on two wheels in the super rough terrain that was extremely demanding of a riders fitness as well as their machines. Cole Kirchoff was ready to see how much is time off the bike, after taking a spill at the Loretta Lynn’s round, would affect his endurance. His start was hampered by a few jitters when the flag flew but made up the time by 5th turn. Both Froman and Kirchoff put in a hard days work on what they called the roughest terrain they had been on. Jake finished 4th and Cole finished 6th on the day and were happy to get back to racing. They will be ready to dice it up in Pennsylvania next month.
