Ruckle Race Report from Snowshoe
Wednesday, June 25, 2014 | 9:25 AM
Hey Everyone Its Cody Ruckle with my race report from round 9 of the AMSOIL Snowshoe GNCC. Well this race was a tough one! I knew it would be. It was a nice day with no rain thank goodness. I got off to a good start and got the holeshot on the blacktop start. At the end of the first lap I was leading my class [200 B], but I dropped back to second.
This track was crazy. I was the hardest track I have ever ridden. I knew I just had to keep moving, and that is exactly what I did, choosing my lines carefully and riding smart. I kept gaining overall positions with every lap, but was still second in my class. On the last lap, about 3 miles from the finish, I was able to make my move into the first place position.
I ended my race with a 1st in the 200 B class and a 62nd overall. I'm happy with that!
I would like to thank God for keeping me safe, Mom and Dad.
