Obermeyer Suzuki Race Report From The John Penton
Wednesday, June 11, 2014 | 9:55 AM
Jake Froman aboard his 2014 RM-Z250 was able to pull off a stellar finish at the John Penton GNCC this past weekend to claim his 2nd win of the season in the 4-Stroke A Lights Class. The Indiana native has been smooth and consistent all year placing him 3rd in points behind Alex Teagarden and Brady Myers who have also been consistent all year. This class is super strong and will provide a great race for the championship in the later half of the season.
Jake has made some changes for the good to his program this year and it is paying off. His conditioning and nutrition continue to get better and his bike, which is for the most part stock, has proved to be a great steed for his pursuit of the number 1 plate. The biggest change to his bike is the Rekluse Core EXP 3.0, which is the reason he and team mate Cole Kirchoff, had been snagging such good starts this season.
Cole is still healing up after having some trick Titanium aftermarket parts put on to fix a bone break is still keeping active off the bike and the healing process is doing quite well at this point.
Jake has a tremendous amount of drive and determination that will propel him to the top.
