Round 7 of the AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country Series took place this weekend in Masontown, WV, and the Motorcycle Superstore Bell Helmet support riders were back on the podium and leading the way in the national series championship.

Charlie Mullins and Kailub Russell have been swapping positions on top the podium through all seven rounds of the series and this week it was Russell's turn to be on top but Mullin's churned out another solid result to maintain the XC1 Pro Class points lead. "Overall my day was a solid performance. I got a good start and was looking to get into the lead. I had a really bad crash on the third lap, after that I just tried to stay steady and went into damage control. I was able to get second and keep the points lead."

Kacy Martinez continued her domination of the series with another overall win in the Women's Pro Class. This makes six overall wins in seven rounds - her only blemish was a second overall finish at round 4. "It was a beautiful day for racing, not too hot and not too cold and the woods were perfect. I went into the first corner in third and out of the second turn in first and into the woods. I enjoyed the track a lot better then last year, it was very slippery last year and not so much this year. My factory KTM was working great and I really enjoyed the course layout."

Maxxis/KLIM/DirtWise/KTM's Jesse Groemm's grabbed 5th in the XC2 Class. Pennsylvania's Craig Delong captured another win in the 250 A Class and was top Amateur with an 18th overall finish for the day.
