It has been a stellar start to the 2014 race season all over the world for the select few official support riders of Team DirtWise as they tackle their respective Championship classes with outstanding success.
Florida native Jesse Ansley (12 yr. old) has shown he is a future star of Off-road by winning not only the 12-13yr 85cc class at Rd.1 of the GNCC series, but also by scoring the Overall victory in that race as well against many riders several years older than him. Round 2 in the mud of Georgia saw Ansley again win the hotly contested 12-13 85cc class, and then on this past weekend Jesse was again able to continue his domination of the Youth race in the FTR Hare Scramble series in Florida.
Young Australian hot shot, Daniel "Chucky" Sanders (18 yr. old) totally smashed it on the weekend at Rd. 1 and 2 of the Australian Off-road Nationals with a magnificent performance that saw him not only take commanding wins in the Under 19 class but also score 6th and 9th place Overall positions against some of the fastest riders in the world. This result follows on from a close 2nd place finish behind Daniel Milner (2nd Overall, 2013 ISDE Italy) the previous weekend at Rd. 1 of the Victorian State Championship race.
Right behind Sanders in the Under 19 class with 2nd place, and an outstanding 10th Overall, was another DirtWise support rider, Tom Mason (16 yr. old) who rode magnificently at Rd. 1 of the Aussie Nationals.
Meanwhile back in the USA, DirtWise support rider Mark Heresco continues to impress by taking the Pro class victory at Rd. 2 of the North Carolina Hare Scramble series on the weekend and build his momentum for a run at the Pro XC2 podium at this weekend's upcoming Rd. 3 of the GNCC series.
DirtWise Full Factory participant Jeremy Randolph has also been shining in 2014 as he utilizes the expertise of the DirtWise Race team, and dedicated mentoring and one-on-one skills training from DirtWise Pro rider and Instructor Jason Thomas, to vastly improve from his 2013 GNCC race performances with some strong finishes at the first two races of 2014.
DirtWise founder and Off-road racing legend, Shane Watts had this to say, "What a great start to the year it has been! Our Maxxis/KLIM/DirtWise KTM Pro riders have scored some great results so far, while the official DirtWise support riders we are assisting have blown us away with the great results they have all achieved this early in the season - it looks like it's going to be a year full of big victories for DirtWise and the programs we conduct. These results show the continued growth and recognition of the DirtWise brand on a global scale, and shows our commitment to the long term viability and success of our DirtWise Race team by having these young rippers in our "feeder system", covering each distinct age group, as we work with them to cultivate their potential and racing success, and to eventually have them progress into a full time ride with our Maxxis/KLIM/DirtWise KTM Race team."
