GNCC Round 1 Bunnell, FL The Mud Mucker

Monday, March 10, 2014 | 12:10 PM

The Madman Cleaning Solutions / Stickman Graphx offroad race team traveled to sunny Florida for The Mud Mucker, round 1 of the AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country racing series.  True to its name, the racers were faced with some muddy, grueling conditions.

Team racer Jonathan Johnson, who will be riding a Yamaha in the 200 A class for the 2014 season, had an awesome season opener bringing home a first place class finish.

Team rider Braxton McGee, who moved up from the youth class, will be racing the 4-stroke B Lites class on a Kawasaki for the 2014 season.  McGee did a remarkable job in his first 3-hour race, grabbing a first place class finish.

Lucas Statom will be racing the XC2 Pro-Lites class on a Yamaha for the 2014 season.  Statom got off to a good start and was running about mid-pack when he got stuck in a mud hole a couple miles into the race.  He finished up 22nd in his class.  Statom will be back pushing hard at the next round.

The entire team will be back in action this weekend in Georgia for round 2 of the GNCC series.  As always we would like to say a big thank you to the following sponsors for all of your help and support:  Madman Cleaning Solutions, StickmanGraphx.com, Fly Racing, Sunstar, Offroadviking, G2 Ergonomics, Atlas Cycles, Athena, GET, Ulrich Performance, and Unabiker.
