Hey everyone! Zman here just letting everyone know how this weekend at the Ironman went. It was sooo cold so I needed to get some adrenaline pumping! I decided to make the best of it as me and my Yamaha YZ 85 were ready to do work! After putting on my Fly Racing gear, I headed to the line confident that this cold weather was not going to get the best of me! Finally,TEEEEEN Seconds,I stared down at Mr. Ricky Towery flag waved and the YZ 85 went to work! I got off to a great start getting the hole shot into the woods and my Kenda tires hooked up great. I was just trying to get going good and then my hands went numb. It was hard to hang on and then I got passed and passed again. I could not gain any momentum and that's how the whole race went. I ended up finishing in 5th. Vincent Smith rode a good race and end up winning the championship. I almost had it as we were tied in points, but he had 1 more win than me. First, I want to thank GOD, our troops, and all the people that have supported me this year. A big thank you goes out to my team Obermeyer Yamaha/Raines Riding University/OffroadViking.com race team,Sonny Morabito,Yamaha, Fly Racing,FMF,Factory Connection,KENDA Tires,AMPRO Yamaha, Randy Hawkins,Yamalube, Yamaha Generators,GE,HBD Graphics,Enduro Engineering,XGoggles,IMS, Accellerade,Wiesco,Rekluse, GYTR,Sunstar,Raines Riding Schools,CV4,and Steward Baylor. I will definitely be back next year hopefully coming out strong in the 2014 year!
