The Atlas Cycles / Stickman Graphx offroad race team traveled to Springville, Indiana for round 6 of the Amsoil Grand National Cross Country Series. The weather was warm and track conditions were good. Matthew Nix, racing the 250 A Class got off to a great start and was leading the class when he took a bit of a nasty spill which lead to some sore ribs throughout the remainder of his day. This didn't slow Nix down, however, as he got up, pushed hard and still pulled out a 3rd place class finish. Team rider Dylan Stout, also racing the 250 A class crashed hard in the first turn off the start causing him to lose some valuable positions. Stout didn't let the crash deter him and was able to get up, push hard all day and come out strong with an 11th place class finish.
Wes Keller, racing the 4-Stroke A Lites class had a good day in Indiana. Keller put in some strong, consistent laps and finished 6th in the class.
Additionally, team racer Braxton McGee was once again on the top of the podium with a dominating win in the Super Mini (14-15) class, finishing the youth race over a minute ahead of his closest competitor and further extending his points lead.
The Atlas Cycles / StickmanGraphx team will be traveling to Millfield, OH for Round 7 of the GNCC series. As always, we'd like to thank the following sponsors for all of their support!
