Well not sure what to say other than mud, mud and more mud.

We’ve been to a couple GNCC races over the years and going to have to rank this one in the top four of the muddiest yet.  The rest of my list would include: 2004 Kentucky Spartan, 2009 Tennessee Titan & 2011 Indiana Gosport. Gosport may have been the worst but this is a tough call.

Big hand to all XC Racers that tackled this round five had plenty of challenges, from the mud slop, slick clay, ruts & more ruts, to the traitorous rocks and then the lovely rocky down hill. Oh almost forgot the alternate route on the actual golf coarse.
