Josh Strang Injury Update

Thursday, April 18, 2013 | 10:45 AM

After coming together with a lapper on the fourth lap of the Steele Creek GNCC while running in a solid 3rd-place position, Rocky Mountain ATV/MC Racing’s Josh Strang tweaked his knee in the crash that ensued. Unable to continue at race pace, Josh limped his bike in for a 12th-place finish in the XC1 Pro Class. An MRI the following week showed that the crash left Strang with a slight tear of his meniscus as well as a bone bruise of the fibular head. Thankfully, the meniscus tear will not require any surgery and after two weeks of physical therapy Josh has been cleared by his Orthopaedic doctor to compete in this coming weekend’s Big Buck GNCC in Union, SC.
