Fowler, who had the series’ first-ever perfect season in XC2 Pro Am last year, took the lead mid-way through the GNCC race and held off four other riders in contention for the win, including Maxxis’ Chris Borich and Taylor Kiser, who finished fourth and fifth for the day. Fowler and Kiser both chose Razr Ballance rears and Razr 2 fronts to battle through the muddy, rocky course. Borich locked up this year’s GNCC championship at Round 10.Ã With one race left in the season, Fowler is in second place overall and Kiser is third. In the U2 class, Cliff Beasley took his tenth win of the year at Round 12.

Haagsma took the holeshot in both Quad X motos, with Maxxis/H&M teammate Beau Baron close behind. The two riders were first and second in Moto 1. In Moto 2, Haagsma took an easy win after Baron and another rider were unable to finish due to mechanical problems and a crash. Haagsma was pleased with the performance of his Razr Xm tires: “My Maxxis tires hooked up great off the start in both motos and put me in front. The traction coming out of the corners was awesome, and the tires are very predictable in all situations on the racetrack.”Ã
