Shelbyville, TN  - The highly competitive 4x4 Open class took a second row start over the weekend with track conditions wet and slick.  Michael Swift #205 charged his way to the front of the class and swapped over all positions numerous times with 2 competitors.  The last lap, Swift was caught in a mud section behind a lapped rider and fell back to a 2nd place position.  Swift finished with a strong 2nd place overall podium for the day.

“It was an exciting race.  I was proud to have the Maxxis tires for the slick conditions.  I also would like to thank Rox Speed FX for their all new hand guard system that kept my gloves dry through all the water.  I am proud to put all my sponsors on the overall podium today,” Swift commented.

Cliff Beasley #203, took a front row start in the U2 Class.  Beasley quickly grabbed the holeshot and led most of the race.  Beasley encountered a bottleneck on the last lap, which allowed his competition to get around him for the lead.  The #203 charged hard to regain the lead but ran out of time crossing the finish line in 2nd place.

“I had a great run today, just got tied up in a bottleneck at the end.  I would like to throw out a special thanks to DP brakes, which was on hand this weekend.  Thanks for all your support and the great product you build” stated Beasley.

Team UXC will be in Crawfordsville, Indiana in two weeks to compete in round #12 at the famous Ironman.  UXC will be looking to put both the #205 and #203 on the overall podium.
