Hey Everyone it's Cody Ruckle with my race report from Unadilla. Round 10 of  the GNCC Can Am Unadilla was a good one for me. I love it when they have these races at a motocross track. To be able to ride at a track as famous as Unadilla is awesome. I woke up at 6:30 and dressed in my Fly gear. I was feeling really good about the race. I had  trained hard all summer and was ready to go!!! As I headed to the line it was chilly and really foggy. The heavy dew made the ground really slick, but my Kenda Washougal tires would hook up great. 10......seconds Ricky threw the flag,but my foot slipped off the kicker which caused me to be dead last off the start. In the first turn I was able to pass 6 or 8 bikes. We went into a small woods section and when we came back out I wrecked and was pinned between the bike and a hay bale. I was back to dead last again. I wrecked 6 times in that first lap trying to get caught back up. By the end of the first lap I was 6th in the class and 17th overall. I just shook it off got my head right and charged. By the end of the second lap, I was 3rd in the class and 8th overall. I rode hard the entire race trying to work  my way through the top ten. I ended up 3rd in the class and 7th overall. The woods were rough, the motocross track was sweet and my Factory Connections suspension was perfect. My YZ 105 SuperMini ran great as usual. It wasn't my best finish of the year, but I really felt good and felt that I had a great race even after the horrible start.
