Race Report
Bike Week 2009

The Off-Camber, Pro-Moto Billet/Fastway Performance, Klim Gear, Rekluse Clutch, Yamaha Race Team headed for the sand and sun of Daytona Beach, Florida and Bike Week at the beginning of March. The first race was the GNCC which was held at the Westgate River Ranch in Florida this year. The race track offered the usual Florida conditions, sand, whoops, palmetto roots and usually some very fast local racers.

Randy Mastin and Amanda Mastin raced in the morning event. Randy finished 3rd in the Masters A class and 27th Overall. Amanda finished 2nd in the Women's class and  43rd Overall. Morgan Moss lined up in the 250 B Class and finished 1st, even after running out of gas on the second lap. Our English rider Rudy Austin raced the Vet B Class and was very happy to finish 3rd in his class. All riders were glad to have the Florida round out of the way and looked forward to getting back to Georgia.

Before heading to the Georgia GNCC, the team stopped in Daytona to race the Alligator Enduro.  Amanda won here class at the Enduro, along with Morgan who has never really raced any Enduros before.  Morgan was also High Point B rider at the event.  Rudy struggled with the bike all day and finished 17th in his class.  Randy was late to a check by 5 minutes and called it a day.

From Florida the entire Off-Camber Team headed to Washington, Georgia for the General GNCC.  Sunday was a beautiful day and racing conditions were near perfect.

Randy finished 5th in the Masters A class, and was 21st overall in the morning race.  This year should prove to be a very impressive and competitive year in the Masters A class for Randy.  Amanda finished 2nd in her class and 64th Overall, both her and her dad were sick the entire race, so Amanda was just happy to have the race over.  The team would like to congratulate fellow Pro-Moto Billet racer Ashley Crouch on her win in the Women's class she rode hard to chase Amanda down for the win.  Duane Conner started racing for the Team in Georgia and lead the entire race in the Vet A class, finishing an impressive 39th Overall.  The Team is excited to have Duane back healthy and winning races again.  Furthermore, Morgan Moss also led his race from start to finish and finished an incredible 38th Overall from the 250 B class.  Rudy Austin fought hard from 4th place to also take the win in the Vet B class and also finish an impressive 91st Overall.  We are proud of both of these riders and look forward to an awesome year of winning. Â  The Team was pleased with their results, since much of the bike prep was done the weekend before the green flag was dropped.
