ROCKSTAR ENERGY HUSQVARNA FACTORY RACING’S JOSH STRANG
HAS UNFORTUNATE RESULT
Husqvarna supported rider Ryan Sipes claims first GNCC win
Mountaineer Run, Round 11 of the GNCC took place this weekend in Masontown, West Virginia where weather was in the low 80’s with mid-level humidity. This round was a ten mile loop with lap times averaging about 27 minutes. Conditions were extremely dusty and rocky making it hard to see a lot of obstacles.
Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing’s Josh Strang started off the line, rounding the first corner mid-pack. From there, the elements of dust and technical riding took its toll and he began to drop back from the pack. During lap four, Strang experienced a big crash over the handlebars of his FX 450, and landed hitting his head. The impact left him dizzy and unable to continue the race.
Husqvarna supported rider, Ryan Sipes took the holeshot this round and never looked back. He would claim his first GNCC win, 45 seconds ahead of the second place finisher!
