You may recognize the name Harrison Schreiner from the 250 A results, but Harrison is also popular in the sport of Crossfit. Harrison joined the gym in hopes of helping his race career, but is now just as devoted to weightlifting as he is racing. We love hearing about what GNCC racers are passionate about when they aren't racing. Check out what Harrison's father, John, had to say about it:

Harrison is from Connecticut, and has been racing since he was seven years old. He is an A-level rider competing in the Netra HS Series, as well as select J-Day, AMA HS and of course GNCC events. In 2017 Harrison will be making the switch from his KTM 250XC in the 250 A class to a KTM 350SXF in the A-Open class. When he's not riding you can find him at CrossFit RedZone in Newtown, Connecticut. Harrison is not only an offroad racer, but he is a competitive CrossFit athlete, and has recently competed in a few Olympic weightlifting meets too. He is a certified CrossFit trainer, coach and personal trainer at CrossFit RedZone, all while attending classes at Western Connecticut State University, where he is majoring in Health & Exercise Science. Harrison's commitment & passion when it comes to his fitness is pretty impressive, I think you will feel the same way too!
