The Offroadmotorsports’ Wicked Bilt Can-Am Team WINS
the XC2 Pro Sport UTV Race, and Championship!

David Plavi wrapped up the XC2 Pro Sport UTV Championship, at the Powerline Park, GNCC! This gave Plavi the opportunity to race the XC1 Pro class, at the Ironman GNCC.

Dave Plavi earned the XC2 Pro Sport UTV Championship at Powerline Park, allowing him to move up to the XC1 Pro class for Ironman where he finished sixth overall.

Jonathan Powers took over the controls of the Offroadmotorsports’ XC2 Pro Sport Can-Am Maverick, and picked up right where Plavi left off!  Winning the XC2 Pro Sport event, the 4th WIN of the season for the Team!  Powers was stoked to have kept his stellar performance at the Ironman GNCCs, posting 2 wins, and a 2nd in the past 3 years!

The #555 driven by Dave Plavi, and the #591 driven by Steve Matko both raced the XC1 Pro UTV event. Matko got off the front row well, only to get hit in the right front wheel, which snapped the drive axle. Steve was able to finish 2 1/2 laps in rear wheel drive, and then he suffered the catastrophic loss of both rear CV drive axles, leaving the #591 Maverick sidelined for the day.

Congratulations to Dave Plavi on his 2016 XC2 Pro Sport UTV Championship.

Dave Plavi got off to a great start, rolling at a podium pace right out of the gate!  Plavi would drive his #555 Can-Am to the 3rd position by the 4th lap, with Can-Am teammate Hunter Miller #90 behind Plavi by just seconds! An unfortunate bounce in the ruts, exiting the final woods section, propelled Plavi’s #555 machine into a huge tree!

The solid hit buckled both left front control arms, forcing Dave to limp the #555 Can-Am, to the finish line, giving up his 2nd place podium position, falling into 6th by the time he maneuvered his ride through the finish!

Plavi finished out the year in 4th place overall, which is a huge accomplishment starting from the XC2 Pro Sport rows.

Dave Plavi still finished the season, with the Pro Sport UTV Championship, and in the 4th position OA. Which is a huge accomplishment, from the XC2 Pro Sport starting position! Steve Matko finished up the season in the 4th place for the XC1 Pro class and 6th OA, which is also a great accomplishment!

The Offroadmotorsports Team introduced 2 new  “rookie” drivers to their team for 2016; Clinton Graff raced several Off-road Short Course Races and AWRCS XC races, posting 6 podiums!
