Today The Coastal Racing ATV and Side-by-Side team descended upon a brand new race course and venue on Saturday for Round 5 of the 2016 Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) Series in Society Hill, South Carolina. Brycen Neal captured a top-five finish in the XC1 Pro ATV class, while Eli Kiger earned his first victory of the season in the College B (16-21) class. Additionally, Side-by-Side drivers Sean Bogdan and John Henry each earned a top-ten finish in their respective classes, despite rough conditions. Today Can-Am X-Team racer Cody Miller made history at the inaugural Camp Coker Bullet Grand National Cross Country race in Society Hill, S.C., becoming the first racer to win a 4x4 Pro ATV class and the XC1 Pro UTV class on the same day. Miller was also joined by Can-Am X-Team teammates on the UTV overall and class podiums, giving Can-Am a sweep. Today Round 5 of the 2016 Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) Series took place on Sunday at an all-new facility in South Carolina, presenting a unique atmosphere both on and off the race track. The Rocky Mountain ATV*MC/KR4 Arrive-N-Ride Team adapted well to the new terrain, claiming 13 top-ten finishes throughout the day, five of which were inside the top three. Today Lightening would cause a delay in the start of the AM race and the green flag was in the air after a slight weather delay for the WXC competitors. This was the first time our GNCC series visited the Moree Hunting Preserve and Mother Nature fired the first shot of excitement. Mackenzie Tricker would exit the first turn near the front of the field and would be in 2nd place at the end of first lap. Today Steve Matko piloting the No. 591 PR2 equipped WickedBilt Can-Am, ran a smart race to wind up 3rd for the XC1 Pro UTV feature event! Matko starting from deep in the field of 29 XC1 cars was held back by slower competition, finally picking through to the 6th position by the end of lap 1. The 591 Can-Am Maverick gained time on the leaders, until the SC sand, caused a problem. Matko had to back it down to a brisk trail riding pace, to finish out in 3rd for the day!
