Wednesday, November 2, 2016 | 3:45 PM

The Rocky Mountain ATV*MC/KR4 Arrive-N-Ride Team concluded the 13-round Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) season on Sunday with the highly-popular Ironman GNCC in Crawfordsville, Indiana. The team ended the season on a high note as 22 riders participated in the Arrive-N-Ride program amongst a record-breaking turnout of over 2,400 GNCC Racers for the weekend.

The Ironman GNCC showcased the best racing conditions of the season with moderate temperatures and near perfect track conditions throughout the weekend. Rocky Mountain ATV*MC/KR4 Arrive-N-Ride's Thad DuVall stole the show in the 1 p.m. Pro race as he challenged multi-time GNCC Champion Kailub Russell for the overall win, making for an exciting day of racing.

DuVall and Russell battled back-and-forth through the first two hours of the race, with DuVall taking over the lead position on lap four. With two laps to go, DuVall and Russell continued to race head-to-head for the top spot until DuVall got hung up behind some downed lappers at the top of a hill climb. Despite losing substantial time, DuVall was able to push his way to the finish for a hard-fought 2nd overall.
