Offroadmotorsports' WickedBilt Can-Am Driver Dave Plavi Wins at The Wiseco John Penton GNCC

Both of the Offroadmotorsports’ Team drivers, had successful races at GNCC UTV Round 4, in the hills of southern Ohio, at the Sunday Creek Raceway!
Steve Matko driving the 591 Wickedbilt CanAm Maverick, got to work quick, nailing the holeshot, thanks to the Straightline Performance CVT system, installed just hours before the race! Matko managed to advance the PR2 equipped 591 CanAm to the 3rd position, by lap 4, only to be knocked back to 5th position in the XC1 class by the time the checkered flag flew! A great finish considering the, catastrophic crash that Matko had during lap 5.
The XC2 points leader, Dave Plavi, came out strong again! Out maneuvering the competition from the start, to gain the hole shot! Plavi then checked out, and began to run down the XC1 front runners!
Plavi’s smooth and calculated driving style, placed him in the top tier all race long! When the checkers flew, the Offroadmotorsports’ WickedBilt CanAm #555 aka (triple nickel) had finished 1st place in XC2 and 5th overall! During Plavi’s post race interview, he mentioned, “everything was clicking well today, didn’t get held up much by lappers”. “The GBC Tires and Tireblocks, performed flawlessly "he added.
Both Matko and Plavi, gave a shout out to their fearless copilots. Brian Dixon rode shotgun in the 555 XC2 Can Am, and the 591 XC1 Can Am Maverick navigator is Clint Graff, who also helps with the race preparation of the team cars at the Offroadmotorsports shop near Pittsburgh, PA.
The Offroadmotorsports’ Wicked Bilt Can Am team has positioned themselves well, heading into the summer break, for GNCC UTV racing!
The 591 XC1 Cam-Am driven by Steve Matko, is currently in 6th place for XC1 Pro UTV class, and 7th Overall.
The 555 XC2 Can-Am driven by Dave Plavi, is currently in 1st place for XC2 Pro Sport UTV class, and 4th Overall.
Both drivers and their crew, will be back in October for the last 2 rounds of GNCC UTV racing, to race for the Championships and for the respective class wins! Check out this past weekends UTV race on RacerTV.com!
