Obermeyer/MCS Racing Suzuki Race Report: Limestone 100

The month of May and racing are a one hundred year tradition in Indiana! Just an hour South of the 500 Speedway the most prestigious off-road series in the world was hosting riders from around the globe for round 5 of the GNCC series.
Ricky Russell and Chris Douglas aboard their Suzuki RM-Z450’s would do battle in some tough trail conditions that would find them getting of the line well and running with the pack for the most of the opening lap. With heavy rains the week before the race the ruts would become one of the biggest challenges for the riders to navigate through.
Ricky and Chris would battle hard in an attempt to bridge the gap of a fairly spread out field of riders. Ricky would land 7th and Chris in 10th in XC1 on the day.
