Team Big Country Powersports Report: John Penton GNCC

Team Big Country Powersports headed to Millfield, Ohio on Saturday for round four of the six-race GNCC Side-by-Side Championship. The John Penton GNCC showcased dry and fast conditions with a nationally-renowned motocross track incorporated into the tight wooded course.
With a full lineup of almost 70 Side-by-Sides lined up in the afternoon race, team driver John Yokley and his passenger Jarrod McClure powered the Polaris RZR S 900 to capture the holeshot from row two, where they settled into second place early on. Yokley engaged in a three-way battle for the lead, swapping back and forth with the front-runners through the first three laps.
As Yokley exited the Sunday Creek motocross track to go back into the woods, the Kentucky native experienced an issue that ultimately brought his day to an end.
“It’s disappointing to not be able to finish the race, especially while running in second place but the car worked great all day. It pulled an amazing holeshot and we were right in the mix,” Yokley said. “I’m ready to get the kinks worked out, put a whole race together and make it happen in the next two rounds!”
