Conditions are getting better here at the Wiseco John Penton GNCC, as sunny skies and warm temps are drying out a track ravaged by rain last night. But there was still enough mud left on the last lap to cause a bottleneck in a ravine, and overall leaders Traci Cecco and Angel Atwell ended up in it with plenty of others. Riding in third in the Women's Class, Montgomeryville Cycle Center's Stefanie Verkade worked around the bottleneck and made up a bunch fo ground, putting her out front in class and in the overall when the checkered flag came out. Congrats to Mrs. Verkade--it's her first overall win ever!

Atwell was second and Cecco third. The afternoon race is set to begin so stay tuned to live timing and scoring.
