GEICO TDI Racing Signs Josh McLevy

GEICO Off-Road Racing is at it again”¦ adding another top notch rider to their line-up. They are ecstatic to announce their latest addition to the team for the 2008 race season”“GNCC XC1 Pro rider, the infamous #711, Josh McLevy.

Josh started racing competitively at age 9 trying various styles of racing, but came to love the woods and hare scrambles. Josh’s pro career started in the NETRA (North Eastern Trail Riders Association) series and moved on to the GNCC’s in the late 90’s. He has been featured in numerous industry publications such as Cycle News, Trail Rider, Dirt Bike, and Dirt Rider just to name a few. With multiple top 10 finishes in the GNCC’s, Josh adds the additional competitive component that completes the strong GEICO Off Road GNCC race team.

Josh isn’t just stopping at the GNCC’s though, he will be joining JT as part of the GEICO Endurocross team as well. He will be racing the Expert and Open 2 stroke classes in that 6 race series that kicks off in Las Vegas on July 5.

Josh will be aboard the GEICO backed Lojak Yamaha YZ250 in 2008 and will continue to run the familiar #711. Josh definitely fits amongst his new team and competition as one of the most talented riders in the series. We are excited to have Josh as the first XC1 Pro rider to join the team.
