SUBJECT: COMPETITION BULLETIN 2018-7:

Amendment of Double Arrow Rule

GNCC Competition Rules require racers to stay on the marked course, defined as within 25 feet of race arrows, with the exception of specific markers, including double arrows. In the event of double arrows posted on either side of the race course, racers must remain between the arrows.

Since GNCC uses different color arrows for different races, confusion may arise as to which sections are double arrows and which are not. Accordingly, the double arrow rule has been amended as follows:

I. ON TRACK REGULATIONS:

  • 18GNCC_DoubleStripes
  1. Riders must remain on the marked course. The marked course is within 25 feet of race arrows. However, riders must stay within the confines of the following markers: Double Striped Placards posted on both sides of the trail, ribbons, signs, stakes, hay bales, barrels, motocross track, grass track, etc..

Effective immediately, the above striped placards will identify the sections of the race course requiring riders to stay within the confines of the placards.
