Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing’s Thad Duvall made his return back to racing after an injury sustained at the 2017 ISDE. He had a slow start finishing the first test in the fifth position. In order to comeback and fight to keep his overall championship points lead, Duvall powered through test two and finished first across the line. His momentum carried in all of the remaining rounds where he rode mistake free finishing first in test three and second and third in the final three tests. Unfortunately for Duvall, the battle was so tight between the top three riders that he was only able to pull off a third place finish, resulting in him falling into second place for the series points. The final round, taking place on November 5th in Stanton, Alabama will be a winner take all race.

“It felt great to be back to racing. I am feeling back to myself. I was being pushed by the top guys and it was a tight race. I am happy to have the third place finish, but need to fight in the final round for the overall win to get that championship!” said an excited Thad Duvall.
