Tuesday, February 9, 2016 | 2:15 PM

Round one of the Kenda AMA National Enduro Series took place this weekend in Wedgefield, South Carolina. The race consisted of 6 tests ranging between 7 and 10.5 miles in length. All tests took place on the sand and because it rained some the night before, test conditions were perfect.

Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing's Josh Strang and Andrew Delong were more than ready, mentally and physically, for the start of the 2016 season. Andrew Delong had a great start to the day and finished the first test in 2nd place. He continued the day at a solid pace and had a lot of battles for the top spots. He finished 4 of the 6 tests in a top 5 position and finished 5th overall. "I had a great day on my FC 450 and a solid start to the season. Happy to put it in the top 5 and to be 100% healthy going into the rest of the 2016 season." said Delong.

Josh Strang also came into the season opener feeling 100% and excited. He put down consistent times throughout all of the tests with no mishaps or errors and finished one of the tests in a top 5 spot. Strang ended the day with a 7th place overall finish and looks forward to working hard and landing on the podium this season.
