Zakowski Motorsports is pleased to announce its participation once again in the Ironman GNCC breast cancer awareness fundraising, taking place this weekend in Crawfordsville, Indiana.
Zakowski Motorsports will be set up on UTV Pro Row Friday, Saturday and Sunday selling all kinds of cool stuff, including breast cancer awareness t-shirts, pink duct tape, stickers, pins, hats/caps and key chains.
Once again, they will be donating 100% of all sales/donations to the following organizations: American Cancer Society for breast cancer research; FAITH Alliance in Crawfordsville, Indiana - a local foundation that helps those in need when diagnosed; Spiering Cancer Foundation in Little Chute, Wisconsin - a local foundation that also helps those in need when diagnosed; and Pink Ribbon Riders in Battle Creek, Michigan - a foundation that provides direct financial assistance to both men and women diagnosed with breast cancer.
They have also teamed up with a local jeweler in Appleton, Wisconsin. KP Jewelers has donated their time in the making of Handmade Crystal Broaches in the shape of a breast cancer ribbon. Linda Zakowski commented, “They are beautiful and we are so excited to have a jeweler on Board to promote our fund raiser. Thank you Karen Polakowski!”
Also, a local Thirty-One Consultant is donating all her commissions for her October sales! Linda said, “We are so fortunate to have local supporters like this. And she is always on board for getting a t-shirt and promoting breast cancer awareness. Thank you Kristy Stumpf!”
And once again, the McGill Mafia has joined the Zakowski Motorsports Breast Cancer Awareness fundraising efforts for the fourth year in a row! This year, Adam has donated an autographed set of gear and an autographed bumper. A $5.00 donation will get you a chance to win one of these items and a $10 donation will get you three chances to win one of these items. Donations will be accepted at Zakowski Motorsports pit area. Winners will be announced at the Pro Podium of the afternoon ATV race. “We are so excited to display these items and boost our contributions to our foundations,” Zakowski added.
“Please stop by and support our fundraiser or just stop by and share a story of someone you know that is or has gone through this. If you are a survivor or know one, stop by, we have a little token for you.”
“We were notified by two people that we know through racing that were provided with financial assistance because of this fundraising, so that meant a lot to all of us at Zakowski Motorsports know that together with the racing fans and families, friends and coworkers, we ALL made a difference for someone!”
