Hey Everyone, it's Cody Ruckle with my race report from the Car-Mate Gusher GNCC in Foxburg, PA. Its always nice to have a new place to race, but as the rain fell all day Saturday, I knew this one was going to be tough! Barry and the crew worked hard and by race time the track was shaping up pretty good. I headed to the line in my Fly gear and Gaerne's on my 2013 YZ 125. I didn't get off to a very good start as Ricky threw the flag, I stalled my bike, so I was last off the line. But by the second turn I was caught up and making my way to the front of the pack.Even though the track conditions were rough in spots, I had confidence that my two new Kenda Washougal tires would hook up. It also helped to have long legs. By the end of the first lap I was in the 6th place position, soon making the pass into 5th. My pit stop during the 3rd lap was record speed with my IMS quick fill. I kept charging making my way into second place. I ended my race with a second in class and 76 overall.

I'm still working on figuring out race pace and how to pace myself for three hours, but I'm having a great time!
