Special Events at Pirelli Big Buck GNCC This Weekend

Get ready for a big weekend this Saturday and Sunday at the Pirelli Big Buck GNCC in Union, South Carolina. Two special events will mark Saturday night. First, GNCC Chaplain Joey Halloway will be back on the scene with a cool event for kids, the Pirelli Easter Egg Hunt. We didn't hold a GNCC on Easter Weekend, but we've got a bunch of Easter Eggs and candy and prizes so we're going to put the hunt on Saturday around 5 p.m. Let your kids know!

We'll follow that up with a first time event that we think will be a big hit. It's the Racedaypix.com Guitar Hero Championship Tournament! Yes, we'll put a big screen TV and a Playstation on the podium on Saturday night and let you air guitar your way to stardom. We're even bringing in some judges for the competition. So if you've got some chops on the guitar, be a hero and head to the GNCC podium Saturday at about 6:30. It's going to be big! Special thanks to Dave Smith and the Racedaypix.com staff.

Also, Big Buck Racing land owner Henry Turner has secured some celebrities on site for the weekend. Connie LeGrand, a fomer anchor on NASCAR News on Speed, and now an anchor at WSPA-TV in Spartanburg, SC, will be there as guest starter for the race. Henry also says Amanda Dressendorfer, a recording artist from Greenville, will sing the National Anthem on Saturday and Sunday at 1 p.m.
