Quick Fill #31: This Week in GNCC

Welcome to Quick Fill, which will be short and sweet this week since we've all got Loretta's and summertime on the mind.

Andrew Matusek does, too. Check out Tuesday Toolbox, penned by Rachel "I should have just stayed in the Pacific Northwest after Washougal" Fluharty for more on the XC2 contender who went MIA a few months ago. Now he's heading to Loretta's to get back to his motocross roots.

As for us, our crew has left for Tennessee, and we won't come back until 34 different amateur motocross national champions and an entire field of AMA ATV amateur and pro motocross champions have been crowned. See you there?

News on the GNCC front is slow this week, the EnduroCross series kicked off over the weekend in Vegas, and KTM's Taddy Blasuziak took a close win over Ricky "had to take the week off from motocross" Dietrich.

But in a few weeks, we may have something very big to report. We have heard a huge rumor of some guest riders from Europe coming over to race the last two GNCC bike rounds this season, and a possible new team racing here in 2010. We should know for sure in a few weeks...stay tuned!

And really, that's about all that's happening in GNCC land this week, and we're going to take next week off as well since I'll be up in the Loretta's announcing tower making the call for 99 motos from Tuesday through Saturday. It's going to be a good time.
