Round eight of the AMA National Enduro Series took place this past weekend in Park Hills, Missouri. The weather conditions were near perfect with the course following suit due to rain on Friday. This round consisted of 6 tests ranging from 6 miles to 11 miles.

Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing's Josh Strang started the day off with a 2nd place finish in the first test. This set the pace for him into all of the following tests. By the fourth test, Strang was still riding with speed and consistency but didn't feel as well as he had in the test prior. He was still able to finish in 2nd and held a slim lead for the overall by 3 seconds heading into the 5th test. Valuable time was lost in test 5, when Strang got stuck in a mud hole, resulting in a 3rd place finish. During the sixth and final test, Josh Strang slid and hit a tree, but soldered on and rode to a 3rd place finish overall for this National Enduro round.

Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing's Andrew Delong made his racing comeback this weekend after being out from injury. He rode strong in the first few tests and was sitting in 7th place overall. Delong was putting down a solid ride for the last two tests, but made a course mistake which lost him a little bit of time, moving him to finish 11th overall for the day.

"This weekend went alright. I was leading overall up until test 5 where I buried my bike in a mud hole and lost some time. Going into the final test I had a good buffer on third and was trying to make up some time, but had another setback when I crashed against a tree. I still managed to get third overall, but need to push hard the next races.  Said Josh Strang.
