After an impressive start to his rookie UTV career Scottie Vechery decided to move from Amateur Modified UTV to the highly competitive XC3 Pro-Am class at the second round of the GNCC UTV series. The Vechery’s would find themselves as high as second place in the South Carolina woods fighting for a podium spot until an unfortunate mechanical occurred on lap four of the five lap race.

“We decided to move up too XC3 for this round to see how we would do in the Pro-Am class. We were running in third at the time and the RZR was handling perfect, the Maxxis/TireBalls combination were holding up great in the trees but unfortunately we burnt up a belt. We have some bugs to work out but we will be ready for Society Hill. One of these weekends we will put it together," said Vechery.

Unfortunately some misfortune came about at the Big Buck GNCC for Vechery Racing, however UTV racing returns to round 5 at the CST Camp Coker Bullet in Society Hill, South Carolina.
