Rocky Mountain ATV*MC/Kr4 Arrive-N-Ride Team Highlights Their Season at Big Buck GNCC

The Rocky Mountain ATV*MC/KR4 Arrive-N-Ride Team put forth its best performance of the season at Round 4 of the Grand National Cross Country Series (GNCC) in Union, South Carolina on Sunday. The team, comprised of 20+ motorcycle riders throughout the Youth, Amateur and Pro ranks, captured an impressive eight podium finishes at the Big Buck GNCC, while bringing home eight additional top-ten finishes. 

Rocky Mountain ATV*MC/KR4 Arrive-N-Ride XC1 Pro racer Thad DuVall was forced to sit out of Round 4 due to an injury he sustained while practicing, but the West Virginia native hopes to be back to racing at the next round.

In the 1 p.m. afternoon race, it was Hunter Williams who highlighted the results board as he earned his best finish of the season with a victory in the 4 Stroke B Lites class, while his teammate, Brittan Laird, finished 7th in the class. 

Conner Keegan kept his top-ten streak alive with an 8th place finish in 4 Stroke A Lites, while Colin Keegan finished close behind in 9th. Additionally, Derek Pacheco earned his best finish of the season with 3rd place in the Senior A (40+) class, matching his son Jacob's impressive 3rd place finish in the 65 (7-9) class.

1 PM Pro Race

250 A: Coleman Brinson - 20th
4 Stroke A Lites: Colin Keegan - 9th, Conner Keegan - 8th
Senior A (40+): Derek Pacheco - 3rd
4 Stroke B Lites: Hunter Williams - 1st, Brittan Laird - 7th
250 B: Eddie White - 18th 

In the 10 a.m. Amateur race, ANR riders adapted very well to the South Carolina terrain as all four team members who entered the race scored a top-five finish in their respective class. Cole Groover matched his season-best finish with 2nd place in 200 C Schoolboy (12-15), while Noah Stewart also captured his best finish of the season with a hard-fought 3rd place, followed by Brandon Keegan in 4th. Additionally, Ethan Greve rode on to capture his third podium-finish of the season with 3rd place in 4 Stroke C Lites.

10 AM Amateur Race

200 C Schoolboy (12-15): Brandon Keegan - 4th, Cole Groover - 2nd,
Noah Stewart - 3rd
4 Stroke C Lites: Ethan Greve - 3rd
Elite Masters 65+: Al Chuppa - 7th

In the Youth division, Dylan Brinson captured his best finish of the season with 7th place in the Super Mini Jr. (12-13) Class. Jack Groover broke into the top-ten in the highly competitive 85 (12-13) class, finishing a season-best 10th place, while Brian Keegan also captured a season-best 19th in the big class.

Jacob Pacheco maintained his consistency with his second podium finish of the season, finishing 3rd place in the 65 (7-9) class and Troy Horbaty claimed his first podium finish of the year in the 65 (10-11) class with 3rd place as well. 

8 AM Youth Race

Super Mini Jr. (12-13): Dylan Brinson - 7th, Ronnie Kosarik - 17th
85 (12-13): Jack Groover - 10th, Brian Keegan - 19th, Peyton Whipkey - 2nd
65 (7-9): Jacob Pacheco - 3rd, Tucker Whipkey - 4th, Dylan Kosarik - 11th
65 (10-11): Troy Horbaty - 3rd

The Rocky Mountain ATV*MC/KR4/FAR team will return to racing on Sunday, April 30 for the Camp Coker Bullet GNCC in Society Hill, South Carolina.
