Due to the large number of riders and fans expected for this weekend’s FMF Steele Creek GNCC in Morganton, NC, GNCC Racing is implementing a new one-way traffic plan and alternate Front Gate procedure. In addition, gates will open early both Thursday and Friday.

Gates will open Thursday from 3 pm to Midnight utilizing the traditional Front Gate. However, starting Friday morning, the entrance to the facility will be moved a half mile north on Route 181. The former main entrance will become an exit-only lane. The new traffic pattern will create a ONE WAY road system to allow for better ingress and egress for the event. Please click HERE to view a map of the new traffic plan.

The new Gate schedule will be as follows:

Thursday               Gate 1                     3 pm – Midnight

Friday                     Gate 2                     7 am – Midnight

Saturday               Gate 2                      6 am – Midnight

Sunday                  Gate 2                     6 am – Midnight

Although the new Gate 2 should be able to accommodate all rigs with the exception of semis, racers and teams with exceptionally large rigs are encouraged to arrive no later than Friday Noon and enter Gate 1, the former main entrance.  There they will be staged and escorted in by event staff on a case-by-case basis.  Riders and teams meeting these requirements should contact Dean by text prior to arrival so that arrangements can be made at 724.372.2348.  Cell service is limited, so please text.

In addition to this new traffic pattern, registration for Bikes will be open on Friday to accommodate those racers wishing to avoid traffic congestion Saturday.

Finally, due to limited space and the implementation of the new traffic pattern, we do will not have the room to stage or accommodate rigs arriving between Midnight and 6 am.  Please plan accordingly and make arrangements to park overnight elsewhere if unable to arrive prior to midnight.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation as we implement this new traffic plan.
