Logan P'Pool has put in an excellent 2014 season, consistently finishing at the front of the 200-A class. With one round to go, Logan is looking for that illusive win. We caught up with Logan to talk about his 2014 season, plans for 2015 and more.

GNCCRacing.com: How's it going today?
Logan P’Pool: Pretty good. Just another day at work.

So tell everyone a little about yourself.

Well my name is Logan P'Pool and I ride 200-A. I've been racing GNCC's the past 2 years. I've been riding for a total of almost 15 years.

Logan would watch his dad race when he was younger, so of course that's what he wanted to do when he got older

How did you get started racing?

Well, like most kids that start at a young age, I watched my dad and all his friends race. So of course that's what I wanted to do (laughs). I spent a lot of time riding my bicycle with a helmet and goggles on before I got my p-dub. [PW50]

And what brought you into the world of GNCC Racing?

I had grown up racing a lot of hare scrambles including the Mid-South Cross Country Series and hitting a few of the GNCC's when I was younger. In 2013 I decided to go to Florida and Georgia and plan from there. I ended up racing the whole season and finishing 3rd in 4-Stroke B Lites.

So how has your 2014 season been going?

I really can't complain with my 2014 season. I've had some bad luck along the way but that's part of it. I've put in solid finished for the most part, so it's been pretty good.

What has been the biggest highlight of the season so far?

I think the biggest highlight of my season would be at the Limestone 100. I kept my head down and stayed focused all day. I felt like I rode the best I could all day and got a 2nd and 53rd overall.

With only one race left to go, what would you like to accomplish before the season ends?

I would love to get that first GNCC win of course. I've came up just a little short so many times and nothing would feel better than that.

Overall your season has been pretty awesome, but did you expect to have such a solid season?

Actually, I didn't know what to expect. It had been 3 years since I had owned a 2-stroke and I thought the 250F would've made me lazy but actually I love it.

How does it feel to be within the top 3 of the 200-A class?

It feels great, you know? My goal coming into this season was a top 3. Of course everyone wants to win but I had a goal of top 3 going into the season with not knowing what to really expect.

Do you have any plans for 2015 yet?

Actually, I don't have a set plan. I can't decide on if I want to continue to ride a two-stroke or go back to a four-stroke. I'll either be riding 250-A or 4-Stroke A Lites.

Fas forward to the 2015 season we may see Logan P'Pool on either a two-stroke or four-stroke. So look for him to be in the 250 A or 4-Stroke A Lites class next year!

What do you hope to accomplish in 2015?

In 2015 my main goal is to come in and make people say, "man that kid worked his butt off this winter." The main goal is to alway have fun doing what I absolutely love and be the best I can be at it.

Alright, before we wrap this up, who would you like to thank?

Pro-Action KTM and DTS Suspension, Powersport Grafx, FMF, Alias, and of course my parents and step parents for supporting me in every way they can. It wouldn't be possible without them. Also, anyone that I may have forgotten thanks to you as well.
