Obermeyer Race Report: The Boys in Yellow!

Tuesday, October 7, 2014 | 4:50 PM

The boys lined up for the next to last time for the season. St. Clairsville Ohio was the location and the track was good and the creek jump was as tricky as ever.

Coming into the final round of the 2014 GNCC series, Cole has made his way back to fifth place in points in the competitive 4-Stroke A Lites class.

When the flag flew Jake was off the line in second and Cole 5th. Jake led part of first lap and then had a get off that sent him back to 10. Cole moved up to battle for the lead until the famous mud hole found him on the ground, which set him back for the rest of the day. Jake had to call it a day as his leg was throbbing to bad to continue. Cole finished on lead lap with a 6th place and 34 overall.

Going into the last round of the GNCC Series in Crawfordsville, Indiana Jake holds down 2nd in the championship standings and Cole has rallied back to 5th in points in the ultra competitive Light A class. All the excitement of the Iron Man GNCC is so much fun that we hope you can join us for this race.
