Tanner Bowles has been dominating the 4x4 A/B class throughout the 2014 season. After a 2nd place finish at round 1, Tanner has gone on a tear winning every race since then. We caught up with Tanner to talk about his 2014 season and more.

GNCCRacing.com: How's it going today?
It’s going pretty good! Just getting ready for the weekend.

So tell everyone a bit about yourself!
I’m Tanner Bowles, I’m 18 years old, I started racing GNCC in 2012, so this is my third year in the sport and I’ve been enjoying every minute of it.

Tanner Bowles has been having a great 2014 season, he's had 7 wins in a row in the 4x4 A/B class.

How did you get started in the off-road racing world?
I got started after my mom went to Snowshoe to watch. She decided that she wanted me to try it out and after that one try; we were hooked and just couldn’t stop coming back.

You've been having a pretty awesome 2014 season, tell us how it’s been going.
The 2014 season started out a little rough in Florida after I overheated my brakes and lost them, but I still managed to get a second place finish. After that though, the Can-Am Renegade has made the whole season a pretty smooth sail bringing in 7 wins in a row.

How does it feel to hold down the 4x4A/B points lead?
It feels pretty great to look and see a 20 point lead on second place.

Coming into the 2014 season did you expect to be having such a dominating season?
Coming into the season I was planning on going for the championship but I wasn’t expecting to be as fast as I am on this new bike.

And other than a 2nd place at round 1, you've won all the other races. How's that feel?
The second place at round one kind of hurt because I was hoping for a perfect season and Florida was the only race stopping me from that!

What do you hope to accomplish through the rest of the season?
After the summer break, I’ll be moving up to the 4x4 Pro class and hopefully I can land some good results there.

Do you have any plans in mind for 2015?
My plans for 2015 are to gain more sponsors and at least get a second place finish for the year in 4x4 Pro!

What do you hope to accomplish down the road in racing?
I’d like to be able to have at least one perfect season in the 4x4 Pro class and I’d like to end up with more than 15 championships in my career.

What is it going to take to get there?
Definitely a lot of hard work and dedication but I know I can do it.

Alright, before we wrap this up, who would you like to thank?
I’d like to thank my mom Randa Faulkner, stepdad Bob Faulkner, my teammate Bryan Buckhannon, Can-Am, FCR Suspension, SSI Decals, GBC Tires, O’Neal, Spy, Looney Tuned Exhaust, Swampfox Motorsports, ATV Parts Plus, and AMSOIL.
