The 2014 AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country Series has only seen overall wins from Kailub Russell and current points leader Charlie Mullins. With 7 rounds into the season, Kailub has steadily chipped away at the championship points deficit. The series heads to Millfield, Ohio this weekend for the John Penton GNCC where Charlie Mullins will be MIA. Just when Kailub Russell was picking up steam to contest with Mullins, Charlie suffered a wrist injury that will take him out for most of the season. Although that may bring some relief to Kailub, it lights a fire inside every rider in the top 10 to take advantage of Charlie's misfortune.
