Levi Coen is another competitor in the list of names from the College-A class. Against a class of the next top talent, Coen currently sits third in the class points with his eyes set on even higher goals. We caught up with Levi to talk about his 2014 season and more.

GNCCRacing.com: How's it going today?
Levi Coen: It's going pretty good! Just got home from the gym about to eat some dinner.

So we're heading into another weekend of GNCC Racing, are you ready to go?
I sure am, I'm super pumped on this weekend hoping for good things!

How has The Mountaineer treated you in the past?
It's treated me alright the past couple seasons, but haven't got that W yet. So, hoping to snag it up this weekend!

How do you hope for this weekend to go?
Looking for a holeshot, set a solid pace, run up front all day get the win and amateur overall. That would be the ideal race (laughs)

What about the rest of your 2014 season? How's it been?
It’s been decent. So far I’ve had some good races and some tough ones too so I hope to get back towards the front the rest of the season and start riding like I know how!

The College A class is always a competitive class. How's it been this year?
Yeah no doubt about that! There are so many different guys who could win on any given day. It's been okay, not exactly what I had planned the last few rounds, but I’ve had some awesome battles with my good friend Blake Tornes, aka BMoney, and hope to keep that going all season!

You're sitting 3rd at the moment, what will it take to challenge the top 2 guys?
It's going to take good starts, no mistakes, and consistency. I know how to make that happen just have to go out there and get it now.

What are your goals for the rest of the season?
My goals are to win races and amateur overalls. That’s what I’m shooting for every round and hopefully I break into that top 20 overall soon!

What will it take to snag some class wins?
Holeshots or just a good starts in general, and lots of throttle. I’ve also got to stay off the ground (laughs)

Do you have any plans in mind for 2015?
Slap some green plates on and put some sticks it the ground for that XC2 Pro-Am starting spot! Hopefully I can find success there as well.

What do you hope to accomplish down the road in racing?
I hope to make it to the XC1 class and be lined up next to all the people I've looked up to.

What will it take to make that happen?
Lots of discipline, tons of riding and training, and support from everyone around me. Some luck would be nice too.

Alright before we wrap it up, who do you want to thank?
