Monday, April 14, 2014 | 11:20 AM

Round 4 of GNCC season took place on Sunday, April 13th at the Big Buck Farm located in Union, South Carolina. The Obermeyer Suzuki Team, Jake Froman and Cole Kirchoff, had a good weekend. The day started off with both Jake and Cole going into the woods in the top ten thanks to the Rekluse Clutch. After completing lap one, they both had moved up into the top 5.

As the day progressed, the track became extremely rough. The newly valved Obermeyer suspension became an advantage. At the midway point of the race, Jake and Cole were running 2nd and 3rd. And as the checkered flag came out, Jake crossed the line in 2nd and Cole in 4th in the 4 Stroke A Lites Class.  Both riders are from Southern Indiana, riding buddies on off weekends, and are building a great rivalry on the track.

Both Obermeyer Suzuki’s finished in the top 5, and therefore this is going to be a great season to follow! A big shout out goes to the pit manager Zach Kirchoff for his excellent pit strategies.
